COMMON GOOD MOVEMENT

A more just future requires long-term systemic and structural change led by bold and principled leaders and coalitions. We believe all  institutions in Sierra Leone can be reimagined and transformed to benefit our communities and our our "common good", if we are deliberate and afraid of nothing.

Our communities are struggling to combat multiple devastating crises at once—crises of political trust and politically motivated economic  hardship..

What’s become clearer, especially since the 2018, is that at the root of it all lies a crisis of democracy. The current state of corrosive social polarization and culture wars, mistrust in democratic institutions, and our inability to take bold action are the material outcomes of decade’s long strategy created by a greedy political ruling class . 

Anti-democratic conditions do not respond to the strategies and tactics utilized by the movements we’ve been a part of--- with everything that is at risk, we must adapt for the COMMON GOOD.
